Just a little bit psyched that I managed to record this REALLY quickly. XD

Yes, they’re back. This tuesday is Andrew Belle’s Static Waves. I got a little motivated to do covers again after seeing one of the Stec brothers put up a cover, plus I’ve been madly in love with Andrew Belle’s album The Ladder lately. So I might as well post one up. I’m guessing it’s going to go up around 12 so I can play something offline.

I’m getting rusty at doing covers again, tell me where I screwed up aye? :P

But yes, I’m also taking requests for covers. So if you have anything, please feel free to shoot me an ask or anything like that. :)

1027 Edit: Uploading it now. So the only thing is… I can’t use the net. Might as well play Dead Space 2 while waiting.

“Why Did You Mess With Forever” by John Mayer. I think I did at least 15 takes. It’s so technical near the end I almost completely lose it. But I manage to hold on and still have the techniques that make it so much like Mayer.

Should be uploading in a couple of mins or something. Damn that was a difficult song.

For Cover Tuesday it’s a tossup between “I Put a Spell on You” By Screamin Jay Hawkins. Which I found a great cover by She & Him.

OR.

I might just do “Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want” by The Smiths. I’m not to sure really, I have a raspy voice because of a sore throat and It’ll be absolutely great to use that to my full advantage. Issue with all this is, I may not be able to reach my full vocal range and there’s always the risk of harming my throat. We’ll see.
