In the book The Perks of Being a Wallflower, there is a quote on page 145 said by Charlie. The quote was “Things change, and friends leave, and life doesn’t stop for anybody.” This quote is true on many different levels. To break it down, things do change. When you think about it, your life has changed drastically from the time you were a little kid. Friends do leave; sometimes they move away, sometimes friendships are just mean to end. And life does not stop for anybody. Life can’t pause when someone isn’t keeping up with the flow, you just need to push yourself and not expect life to slow down for you, you need to speed up for it.
